Even though I haven’t been posting lately, I haven’t been sitting idle. Once I started to feel a little better I started knitting. Actually, I started knitting a little before I started feeling better…not a good idea, actually. This is what happens when I craft while sick:
This cloth was originally supposed to be part of a Christmas present, but now, I’ll be keeping it myself. I had to laugh when I finished it. I had no idea how badly I was messing up when I finished it!
Here are a few that turned out MUCH better:
Sorry for the bad pictures.
Just before I got sick, my daughter had a living museum project to do for school. She was supposed to be Betsy Ross. Well, as we all know as crafters, that means we (I) have to make stuff! So here is the result of my endeavors for her costume:
Of course, one of her brother’s had to get involved in the photo shoot:
I want to thank everyone for all their well wishes on my recent illness. I am feeling wonderful now. I’m watching what I eat and have added some supplements that should keep me right as rain!

Your knitted wash cloths are fantastic. We just had a swap for Easter with them and I just love "em now! Cheers.

Surely just a little steaming can fix that dish cloth?! :)
I read your sick story with growing dread and I am so relieved you are on the mend. I love the daughter's costume. Make sure you take your time and recover completely.
Cheers,
Val
Girl - I'm so, so glad to hear you're feeling better, yes you have to be very careful what you eat. I hope your energy is making a comeback too - it's no fun when all you want to do is sleep or lay around.
Love the cloths, and that Betsy Ross costume! Beautiful kids, hon, love that second pic, lol!
