Sewn yo-yo's that is!
Baby Girl and I worked on a project that I got from Zakka Life. Baby girl did most of the sewing herself. I sewed a bit of elastic on the back and I connected the yo-yo's for her. She did a great job making all the yo-yo's herself! Isn't this the cutest bracelet!
Of course I had to get in on the action too! Mine isn't quite done yet, I'll finish it tonight while we watch t.v. I just love this material! I so wish I could get more. It is from a scrap swap I did a while back. The flowers are outlined in gold and my camera just doesn't do justice to the colors!
I also ran across these darling yo-yo clip barretts over at Wee Folk Art.
They even provide the instructions on how to make them!Last, but most certainly not least there is a giveaway at one of my favorite blogs! Lori from Bee In My Bonnet is generously giving away floursack dishtowels, DMC floss, needles and a choice of an iron on transfer set.
If you've never been to Lori's blog before, you have to stop by. She has some of the most darling quilts I have ever, EVER seen! Oh, but of course you don't have to sign up for her giveaway as I plan to win...

These are so cute, I love yo-yos and have thought about making some but never really knew what I would use them for. My nieces would love to make some of these, thanks for the tip!
